For 25 years, Gregg has helped DITs, colorists, and editors achieve reliable, repeatable image accuracy—supporting color grading and editorial suites, aligning monitoring with standards, and building calibration and evaluation methods that fit real-world post-production workflows. His work emphasizes correct measurement, consistent results across displays, and clear communication between creative intent and technical performance.

Gregg previously served as a lead consultant and project creator for THX Ltd. through 2017, contributing to initiatives spanning professional and consumer markets. He created the THX Video Standards Program and served as Lead Educator for the THX Video Calibration Program, delivering 60+ classes over 11+ years with multilingual support before founding the PVA.

He has also served as a CEDIA video consultant, white paper editor, and instructor, and contributed to the design and technical direction of multiple imaging accuracy products and software packages used by video professionals. From 2003–2008 he was a Datacolor Product Specialist and an ISF (Imaging Science Foundation) Instructor.

In his iColorist courses, Gregg focuses on practical, repeatable calibration fundamentals—how to evaluate a display, verify accuracy, and maintain confidence that what you see on your reference monitor will translate reliably through your pipeline and into final delivery. These iColorist courses also include eligibility for PVA certification, providing a clear pathway to document your skills and validate your results using standards-based methods.
