The second ICA Colorist Summit took place in Waikiki during October. The Summit mission is to go to places not normally on the ICA roster. In 2017 we were in Bali and received great support from locals and international students. Hawaii was no different. We had guests visiting from London, Amsterdam, Taipei and LA mixing with local Hawaiians.
The Summit has shorter classes allowing for more holiday/networking time. Kevin and Warren both mixed up their normal ICA classes with different options especially for Hawaii. Class lunches/dinners, bike rides, shuffleboard and surfing lessons were just some of the after class activities we encouraged. The week closed with the Hawaii Colorist Mixer which was free and open to the local film making community. The Summit was a huge success. Look out for news on the 2020 European Colorist Summit.
Check out the wrap movie here to see what some of the students had to say.
