About Toni
Enthused for a world full of color, Toni pours her colouring passion to both still and moving pictures. She is an independent colorist who works with notable post and production houses in the Philippines. She also offers her services internationally as a fully equipped remote colorist. Outside of moving images, she continues to pursue photography as a personal creative outlet.
For a time, Toni also ventured into event and lifestyle photography, before realizing her passion lies in the coloring. Nevertheless, her dance between the these industries gives her technique and work a fresh blend of two worlds. See a schedule of Toni’s upcoming classes.
Toni entered the coloring scene fresh off university during a time when Film and Digital struggled to be the status quo, and formal training as a colourist was limited. This led her to more than a decade long path of learning and training on the job. Nonetheless, she had the opportunity to receive intensive training under the International Colorist Academy, and Certification as a Trainer for international brand, Blackmagic Design, specifically for Da Vinci Resolve. She has also received an Award of Merit for Color Treatment from the Cinema World Fest Award for her work in the 2018 film, “Quezon’s Game”.
With a firm belief that knowledge should be shared and to pay it forward, Toni is a seasonal professional lecturer at her Alma Mater, De La Salle University where she majored in Communication Arts. She teaches Post Production and an elective course on Color Grading, mentoring the next generation of visual storytellers. And, most recently, she has joined iColorist as one of their trainers, sharing knowledge across the world.
