“We can fix it in post, but only if the editor knows about color.”
Modern Editors have to know about Color, not only do they have to fix color-issues within the editing software, but if the budget does not allow a “real” colorist, they have to do the damage control themselves. The knowledge about color-safe-workflows will help ensure the quality of the end-result.
Just as the do and don’ts of relinking the original footage, or transcoding the edit timeline to a color-correction program. It’s good to know the basics of Color-Correction, the theory and the software.
This class is ideal for junior colorists, editors and VFX guys, basically anybody who works in the audio-visual industry with a desire to know more about color correction.
